Our two part nappy (comprising an ‘inner’ and ‘outer’), designed in collaboration with NZ mums, has unique leg gussets to provide a better fit and prevent leaks.
You change the micro fleece/micro towelling ‘inner’ when wet and only change the micro fleece lined ‘outer’ when soiled. The need for soaking and scrubbing is eliminated, so you’ll halve your washing and drying time.
Importantly, it is not a throwaway. So you won’t be filling our NZ landfills with tonnes of disposable nappies that take years to breakdown.
All in all, our fitted nappy, available in 2 sizes, will provide your baby the best nappy comfort possible,
and give you greater peace of mind.
Best of all, you’ll be saving yourself up to $2500 compared to using disposables, while saving the environment.
Use one inner during the day and two at night for extra absorbency.
Each nappy comes with 2 inners. Extra inners are available.
Instructions
Wash your liners before use
-
Inners should be washed up to 3 times or soaked in a bucket of cold water for 24 hours. This will activate the unique absorbency properties.
-
If inners lose their absorbency wash several times on a rinse cycle with NO detergent.
Washing
-
Knock all solids into the toilet, rinse residue or runny soiling in a rinse cycle or under a tap.
-
Wash on a regular cycle using 1T of eco-friendly detergent or a sensitive washing powder. Never use harsh or general household products.
-
Use a warm wash (up to 30C), hot washes will shorten the life of your nappies.
-
No need to soak your nappies prior to general washing
-
IMPORTANT
-
Do not use fabric softeners, bleach, harsh stain removers, baking soda or vinegar. These may shorten the life span of your nappies. Use Napisan only when necessary on INNERS only.
Drying
-
Line dry whenever possible, just 2 hours of sunlight will sanitise your nappies and remove most stains.
-
Cool tumble dry - NEVER use a hot cycle.
Liners
-
Always use a flushable liner when using nappy and barrier creams. These products can diminish the absorbency of the inners and clog the fabric.
